Food · Your first practical step

Grow ingredients for three meals you already enjoy.

Start small enough to care for. Your first result is a workable plan and a useful learning experience.

  1. 1. Choose familiar meals

Write down three meals. Confirm which vegetables or herbs you actually use and want to grow.

  2. 2. Check your space

Record the growing area, usable dimensions, observed sunlight, water access and anything that makes care easier.

  3. 3. Check the local guidance

Confirm the crop, variety, planting method and season. Seeds and transplants need different planning; missing information stays unknown.

  4. 4. Record what happens

Track the date you plant, the stage you observe and your next task. Elapsed days are a record, not a promise of harvest readiness.

Make it your personal plan

The SFGPASS Gardens pilot connects meals, measured space, planting records, household tasks and a calendar export. Availability depends on your account’s release access.

Personal garden planning is in private testing. You can use the steps and local resources on this page now.

Opening PASS sends no location, names, garden plan or household inventory. You can use the steps above without an account.
